15th Birthday Party – Sat July 22nd

We’re turning 15!! It’s hard to believe our little bike workshop on Prentice street has grown into the business and community it is today – supporting bicycle adventurers all over the world.

To celebrate we’re having a bloc party – this is an opportunity for us to thank you for your support over the years (and for us all to ogle at each other’s bikes!)

We’ll kick off at 4:30pm with drinks from Inner North Brewing and a food truck from Cornutopia. There will be heaps of bike parking, so please bring your pride and joy along as there will be spot prizes.

We’ll have speeches, tears and prizes shared at 7pm, followed by a live set by San of the Rambutan and DJ Goth Whitlam spinning some tunes.

We’ll be handing out some prizes for various categories of bikes:

– The Tris Crimethink Award for Best Apocalypse Bike

– The LP Award for Best Commuter Bike

– The Zeke Award for Best Retro MTB/Klunker Build

– The J Dog Award for Cleanest Dynamo/Rack/Fender Install

– The SCV Award for the Best Surly

– The Todd Palmer Award for Best Party Hardtail

– The Hartnett Award for Best Bikepacking Rig

– The HV Award for Best Family/Cargo Wagon

– The Luke Powell Award for Most Beautiful Bike

– The Symes Award for Best Self Built Bike

– The Val Award for Best Step-Through

Just bring yourself, your nicest bike and favourite Commuter stories.

Here’s a few pics from over the years to get us all nostalgic…
