Made in Germany since 1982, Ortlieb are the name in cycle-touring, and Off Course has been stocking their panniers and spares since we opened in 2008. Their more recent foray into bikepacking has also won them multiple awards, including Gear-of-the-Year awards from Bikepacking.com.
Cycle-touring subjects bikes, riders and gear to some pretty demanding conditions, so it’s important to us that the products we stock can stand up against these tests. Ortlieb makes panniers and bikepacking gear that will be just as at home on the outback Race to the Rock as humid tropics or freezing alpine passes. One thing we particularly love about Ortlieb is that they supply one of the broadest ranges of spares and replacement parts of any brand in cycling. It’s this commitment to the right-to-repair that enables riders to boast they’ve been running the same set of panniers for over 20 years.
