FIRE RECOVERY MODE! Our web shop is back online and our temporary location is open, but please read our latest update if you're planning on visiting us.
At Off Course, Shimano is the mainstay of our workshop, and we keep our stock updated with all their latest components as well as replacement parts for even the strangest bikes. Our mechanics are experts across their entire catalogue, and you’ll frequently find them poring over an exploded diagram from Shimano’s tech documents, throwing part numbers back and forth to each other at lightning speed.
If you had to have one brand in your bike shop, it would have to be Shimano. As the world’s leading producer of bike parts such as chains, cassettes and shifters, Shimano are kind of a big deal. They’ve been operating out of Japan since 1921, making everything from kids’ bike components to the groupsets found on Tour de France winning racers.
No bike shop can call themselves experts if that experience doesn’t extend to Shimano’s range. Our workshop prides itself on its rich practical expertise repairing and maintaining Shimano components, and our front-of-house staff likewise know their Shimano parts like the back of their hand. Need to know whether you can match your Ultegra brifters with your old 105 derailleur? Struggling to index that old Rapid-Rise derailleur? Just need a new chain? Off Course is the shop for you.
Off Course acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional custodians of the lands and waterways in the area now known as Brunswick, and pays respect to their Elders past, present, and emerging, as well as to all First Nations’ communities in Australia.
