FIRE RECOVERY MODE! Our web shop is back online and our temporary location is open, but please read our latest update if you're planning on visiting us.
Wolf Tooth components are by now a common sight on high-quality bikes, but at Off Course we’re proud to say we’ve been with them since their early days. As trailblazers in the industry’s adoption of one-by drivetrains, Wolf Tooth have been cooking up weird and wonderful ways to make bikes ride better since 2013, and we’ve been slapping their parts onto bikes for nearly as long. Still made in the US of A, these are A-grade quality parts.
Like many of the other brands we stock here, we were drawn to Wolf Tooth because they made odd parts for niche uses, and emphasised quality above all else. Their revolutionary Narrow-Wide tooth profile on their Drop-Stop chainrings changed the game for chain retention on one-by drivetrains, and if imitation is the best form of flattery then Wolf Tooth must be blushing crimson by now. Everywhere you look, modern bikes are increasingly running one chainring at the front, and the reason they’re not constantly dropping chains is largely due to these guys.
In their own words, their desire was to “fill gaps left in the market by the big guys”, and to find solutions for problems few were even looking at. Since then, Wolf Tooth have expanded their range and turned their considerable innovative talents to stunning anodized headsets, rad dropper posts, clever drivetrain adapters, and hey, pretty much any bike part where precise machining is crucial. They even have a sister-brand, Otso, dedicated to making awesome adventure bikes. Ask Off Course co-owner Will about them, and he’ll talk your ear off!
Having stocked Wolf Tooth’s parts for so long, we’ve developed more than a bit of expertise. Odd, niche parts need odd, niche folks to understand how they work and how best to use them, and if there’s one thing we’re not short on here it’s odd, niche folks. Our team know Wolf Tooth’s parts from back to front, and can help you work out which parts are right for you. Come have a chat to us here at Off Course.
