Whether commuting or touring, rear racks are an excellent way to add carrying capacity to your bike. Most of these racks allow you to mount panniers, some include a raised platform for extra cargo capacity. We’d almost always recommend a chromoly steel rack for touring and expedition use, we also carry a range of aluminium racks at a more approachable price point.

Important notes regarding rack fitting

• Whilst typically not a difficult process, fitting racks is often fiddly and can easily take 30-60 minutes of workshop time
• Most rack fits will require some degree of cutting, cold-setting, filing or adapting to install properly
• We are not able to accommodate people installing racks themselves at the shop
• If you would like us to fit a rack you purchase in-store, please be aware that you will likely need to book a fitting, or leave the bike with us until we have time to squeeze it in
• If you’re purchasing a rack in-store, or collecting an online purchase to install at home, please make sure you have some way to carry it home.
