H Plus Son Hydra 700c Disc Rim

The Hydra was designed for Disc brake specific bikes and is the latest model in our H Plus Son line up. Hydra adapts the best aspects of the popular Archetype rim with the addition of several key design tweaks to create a tubeless ready, disc specific rim that is versatile enough for road, gravel and cyclocross applications.

The 25mm wide platform on our Hydra rim provides increased torsional stiffness while allowing for the use of wider tyre profiles, a must for modern road bikes. Hydra’s 23mm profile provides improved impact absorption for a smoother, faster rolling wheel.
