Our Kona Cromoly steel frame is outfitted with a Brooks saddle and matching microfiber bar tape, integrated shifter/brake levers, proper fenders, and a real Tubus Tara Big Apple low-rider front rack. It’s a modern take on the classic touring bike. It’s a grocery getter that’s easy on the eyes. It’s the feeling of steel across pavement that reminds you why you love turning the cranks on long rides. Just like its name suggests it’s the perfect guide for your every ride.

New for 2025 the Kona Sutra comes equipped with Microshift Sword. Offering a 11-38 tooth cassette paired to a 46/30t crank, there’s enough gears to throw on panniers and head out from home on a long bike tour. A Brooks saddle and Tubus rear rack come standard making this a fantastic ready to go package whether you are commuting to work or planning a big road tour.

Whilst we are able to ship bikes Australia wide, we only do so if you are 100% confident that the bike is the right bike for you, and you know the exact size for your fit requirements.

This is because we are not able to accept change of mind returns for bikes.

For online purchases where we are not able to conduct test rides in person, it is entirely the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the bike meets their needs and is the correct size.

Bikes to be shipped are built and test ridden first, then partly dismantled and boxed, so shipping fees include a $150 labour charge. Please note, we are not permitted by law to ship unassembled bikes.

Finding the right size bike

Measure your current saddle height from the top of the saddle to the centre of the bottom bracket in line with the seatpost. If you don't have a bike you can measure your inseam instead.

Payment Methods

The Kona Sutra has Chromoly steel frame that will ride comfortably and allow you to load up the bike with camping gear or groceries.

This year it gets the new Microshift Sword gearing for a proper low touring range.

Schwalbe Marathon tyres provide the ultimate in puncture protection and durability, while the included Brooks B17 saddle and Tubus touring rack add real value.
