Is panaracer gravelking sk 700x26c a slick tyre or as pictured?
Huw –
The SK is the slightly ‘knobby’ version as pictured.

Very happy with these tyres (700x 35). Ideal on my gravel bike here in central vic. Running tubes and played with pressures and have settled on 55 psi, I’m 84 kg. Appear to be wearing well given the varied surfaces I ride. They do pick up fine stones and spit them out so recommend some down tube protection. Will buy again.
David –
Hi, will the Panaracer Gravelking SK 700Cx35 fit within short reach side pull brake calipers?
Huw –
Hi David, these won’t work with a standard road brake caliper, but would work with mini V-brakes. Hope that helps! Huw
Santie –
Hi, i am using 700x28c road bike with disc brake. Can i use the 700×26 or 700×32 for a little bit of gravel riding?
Adam Macbeth –
It depends a little on the tyre clearance of your bike but the 26mm tyre will work no worries, the 32mm may not.
Tim McMurray –
I am super happy with my Gravel king SK 700c x 50mm tyres. I’ve already done over 400km on these on and offroad and they perform faultlessly. The casing is very supple and soaks up the rough road and bumps perfectly. The roll surprisingly well for a big tyre, Im very impressed. Grip is great as well.
Paul –
700×26, Will these fit within shimano 105 rim brake? Saw it on YouTube and hoping that my Trek 150Ocan be converted to an all round ride. Idont want slicks anymore
Mik Efford –
Hi Paul, You’d need to bring your bike in for us to assess the clearance in the frame and caliper. Or talk to Trek about what’s the recommended max tyre for that bike.

Set up as tubeless, I find these tyres excellent for cruising gravel shire roads out here in the farm country in NSW. I’ll be buying them again.

The difference between 27mm road Tyres and 32mm Gravelkings has been fantastic. I’m not as scared of the loose gravel and sandy section on the tracks around Bendigo. They do pick up small stones, but that’s possibly a price to pay for grip? I’m still able to get back on the tar roads with little noticeable drop in speed as well. Thanks to Commuter Cycles for a quick service and a great range of stock at a reasonable price.
