The Rohloff lockring tool is well made, it works and it looks like it should last a lifetime – I can’t say the same for the lockring it unlocked though, clearly a softer metal than the tool, it’s looking a little chewed after one removal/replacement but still very useable. The lockring tool it isn’t what you’d call cheap, but it is a Rohloff so who amongst us expects cheap? The service from Commuter Cycles was as good as ever, fuss free ordering and arrived quickly.
