Why would you want to mount your light under your saddle you ask?
Well maybe you’ve got a sweet rear dynamo light setup attached to the rack on your bike, but these days you’re using your rack less and less… This mount unshackles that light and wiring from your rack, allowing you to then remove the rack on a whim.
Or maybe you’ve got a new bike, but want to migrate your existing dynamo light setup to it, and you’re thinking of not having a rack?
What are the downsides to mounting your light under your saddle?
If you wear long capes, coats or riding jackets with tailbone coverage they might hang over the rear of your seat and obscure the rear light.
If you use any sort of saddle bag it might be tricky to get this mounting to play nice with the bag.
