I used these to fit a quick release wheel to my Surly Midnight Special front fork. I wasn’t sure it would work as Surly’s documentation that I could find indicated use on the rear hub. The fork had to splay apart slightly (probably 5mm max) and the brake rotor needed spacing off the hub flange ~3mm but having ridden the setup pretty hard it all seems safe and durable.
