- Unsuitable and not approved for mounting on carbon forks without eyelets and any kind of suspension fork.
All other types of forks (carbon forks with eyelets; titanium, aluminium and steel forks) must be approved by the manufacturer for the mounting of lowriders. In any case there may not be any crimp connections.

The durable tubus low-rider—for more than 25 years it has been traveling around the world. It has been improved over time, making it even more solid. For example, three individual holes were turned into one longitudinal hole. The entire mounting to the fork has been improved, making the TARA even more compatible with various forks allowing a more flexible positioning. And in addition, Tubus has upgraded their classic lowrider with a light attachment.
With its straightforward design, TARA is easy to mount in various positions. When used in combination with e. g. the LOGO, they make the perfect match for long distance touring.
The TARA is recommended for customers who need a lowrider for rough-use and carrying a lot of luggage, it is stronger than other racks due to the main tube diameter being 14mm.

IMPORTANT NOTES REGARDING RACK FITTING
- Whilst typically not a difficult process, fitting racks is often fiddly and can easily take 30-60 minutes of workshop time
- Most rack fits will require some degree of cutting, cold-setting, filing or adapting to install properly
- We are not able to accommodate people installing racks themselves at the shop
- If you would like us to fit a rack you purchase in-store, please be aware that you will likely need to book a fitting, or leave the bike with us until we have time to squeeze it in
- If you're purchasing a rack in-store, or collecting an online purchase to install at home, please make sure you have some way to carry it home.
