Super huge Wald 139 baskets designed for fitting on top of a front rack like the Surly 24-pack, 8-pack or a porteur rack. Or buy the ‘with fittings’ version and go rackless.
Available in powder-coated black or zinc-coated silver with or without fittings. The fittings connect the basket directly to your handlebar and axle without the need for a front rack.

Really happy with the basket. I use it for the daily 10km commute teamed with a packing cube for my shoes and work clothes. Have the Velo Orange bungee net as well. The basket is clearly well made and quite robust. I’ve mounted it to a Surly 8-pack front rack using cable ties and some toe clips for backup straps. I like the modularity of the open wire frame, it’s kind of like molle on military gear as it allows you to mix and match straps. I’ve got an occy strap and Voile strap for tie downs. Basket is also great for tossing things in after shopping or gloves, jacket and hats when it warms up. Pleased to have finally gone ‘backpack free’!
