This is our Off Course “house build”, featuring a carefully selected parts spec we have chosen to meet a super sharp price point.

The Rambler continues a fine tradition in cycling… the drop bar all-arounder! It’s capable of gravel centuries, quick road loops, light touring, b-roads, and of course daily life. The Rambler is a fully modern adaptation of the genre with disc brakes, thru axles and generous tire clearance. The world is vast and so are the possibilities, the Rambler invites you to fully explore them all.

It has all the mounts a rider could want, and geometry that is quick and fun while still being comfortable for long days in the saddle. As with all Wilde’s, we build our bikes with higher stack heights and believe that when it comes to long distance pursuits, such as gravel, that comfortable is fast.

Being a production bike, we are able to offer the Rambler at a more affordable price through our partnership with Taiwan’s legendary Maxway factory. It comes in four sizes and this version is paired with the segmented steel fork.

Cockpit: Ritchey Stem, Ritchey Butano Bar42-46 cm depending on size
WTB Saddle

Small and Extra Small come with 650b Wheels and Rene Herse Umtanum Ridge tyres

Whilst we are able to ship bikes Australia wide, we only do so if you are 100% confident that the bike is the right bike for you, and you know the exact size for your fit requirements.

This is because we are not able to accept change of mind returns for bikes.

For online purchases where we are not able to conduct test rides in person, it is entirely the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the bike meets their needs and is the correct size.

Bikes to be shipped are built and test ridden first, then partly dismantled and boxed, so shipping fees include a $120 labour charge. Please note, we are not permitted by law to ship unassembled bikes.

GEOMETRY
Gravel geo with all-day comfort in mind. The taller stack height, slightly higher bottom bracket, and chatter-absorbing chainstays make the Rambler excellent for all-day explorations on pavement, dirt, and double track. Roadish head tube and seat tube angles keep everything quick and maneuverable.

TUBING
Wilde TLC – Tough, Light, Compliant
Our own proprietary double-butted, chromoly tubeset. TLC stands for tough, light, and compliant which are the characteristics we select for. On each model and size, we select the optimum blend of tubing diameters, wall thickness, and butting profiles to yield a frame that is both built to last, as light as practical, and comfortable for the rider.
